1. When God the Holy Ghost reveals His Word within our hearts,
Then doubt and darkness He dispels, And ignorance departs.
O Holy Spirit, come this hour! Come shine upon Your Word!
Pour out Your light and grace with pow’r, And let us see our Lord!
2. The sinner called is made to see The things which once were hid.
God’s glory in Christ’s face we see, When raised up from the dead!
In Christ our Savior crucified, God’s attributes divine,
Are all fulfilled and magnified, And sinners mercy find!
3. A just God and a Savior He Who sacrificed His Son,
To give us His salvation free And make us with Him one!
The wonders of redeeming grace The Book of God reveals.
Our Savior shines on every page, As He opens the seals.
4. Then, treasures of rich grace untold, In Jesus crucified,
Our raptured eyes, with joy, behold, As sinners sanctified!
