We welcome you, the friends of grace,

The chosen of the Lord.

Let sinners saved by sov’reign grace

Worship with one accord.

As God’s servants today proclaim

The riches of His grace,

As they extol our Savior’s name,

Let us adore and praise.

O weary, guilty, ruined souls,

You who know not our God,

We pray that God will make you whole

Through Jesus’ precious blood.

O Holy Spirit, condescend

To make our Savior known.

Through the preached Word be pleased to send

Your grace and power down.

Anoint Your servants’ lips, we pray,

To preach the Word of grace,

Anoint our ears to hear today,

With glory fill this place!
