That we are weak and prone to roam From paths of righteousness.

Father, Your sov’reign love and care Thus far have brought us on.

Amid our countless sins and fears, Your goodness You’ve made known.

As we begin another year, Dependent on Your grace,

Revive in us Your work begun And keep us in Your grace.

Enable us to watch and pray, Looking to Christ alone;
