THE TIME OF LOVE

There is a time, (“The time of love!”),

Appointed by our God above,

When every sinner bought by blood

Shall be called out and brought to God.

Though lost and senseless of their need,

Pursuing every lust and greed,

Those chosen rebels cannot move

Beyond the limits of God’s love!

In mercy God has hedged the way

In which He lets His chosen stray.

In secret love God keeps His own,

Until the time of love has come.

Almighty grace will then prevail

To break the chosen sinner’s will;

And willingly, my friend, you’ll come

To God by faith in Christ His Son!
