Assembled in Your name, our Lord,

We long to see Your face,

As we, by faith in Your blessed name,

Approach the throne of grace.

Into Your house of prayer we've come,

(A solemn, sacred place!)

To worship, praise, and honor You,

While at the throne of grace.

Our wretched sinfulness we own

And honestly confess,

But pardon for our sins, we know,

Comes from the throne of grace.

We bless You for the Word we hear,

The Word of life and peace;

We bless Your name, our Lord, because

There is a throne of grace!
