The riches of the Word,

And to the quickened conscience seals

The saving truth of God...

When sinners have the mind of Christ

Imparted unto them,

On every line they see that Christ

Reveals Himself to them!

The counsels of redeeming grace

These sacred leaves unfold,

Here in our Savior's lovely face

God's glory we behold.

O Holy Spirit, shine upon

The Word we open now,

And let us once more see the crown

Upon our Savior's brow.
