Prepare our hearts, O Lord,

To hear Your Word proclaimed;

Your servant clothe with mighty pow'r

And magnify Your Name.

Remove all earthly care,

Expose our inmost sin,

And let us see Christ crucified

To cleanse us from all sin.

Inspire our hearts with grace,

With gratitude and love,

That we might live for Christ alone,

And here show forth His love.

For sinners in our midst,

Who yet know not our God,

We seek Your mighty, saving grace,

And pardon through Christ's blood.

Above all else we ask,

That in this place this hour,

Christ might be glorified and praised,

For all His saving pow'r.
