Firm as His throne God’s covenant is,

Ordered in all things sure:

Elected by His sovereign grace,

His people are secure.

Redeemed by Jesus’ precious blood,

Robed in His righteousness,

Called by the Spirit, born of God,

My soul is kept in peace.

Though trials come and heartaches too,

Though satan tempts me sore,

I lean upon my covenant God

And trust His grace the more.

I find my comfort in my God

And in His grace alone:

He will sustain and do me good

Who gave me His dear Son.
