WHY DO I BELIEVE IN CREATION?

Without hesitation, I say that creation is far more reasonable, logical, and consistent with science in its truest forms than evolution. But the basis of our belief concerning creation is neither science, logic, nor human reason. The only basis of our faith, in all things, is the Word of God. The Word of God does not need to be proved and supported by science, history, or reason. It stands upon its own authority. It is written, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Faith does not question the statement. Faith does not investigate to see if it can be proven in a court of law. Faith simply bows to the Word of God "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word Of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

Evolution, at its heart, is an attack of fallen men upon the Being, Character, and Authority of God. There is no place of compatibility between evolution of any kind and the Word of God. A man cannot believe both: Evolution says that man was created in the image of an ape - The Bible says that man was created in the image of God. Evolution says that man started very low and got better - The Bible says that man started very high and fell very low. Evolution says that man is the master of his own destiny - The Bible says that all men are under the dominion of God. He has appointed our bounds. Evolution says that man needs no Redeemer - The Bible says that man without a Mediator is damned. Evolution says that when this life is over nothing else remains - The Bible says that after a man dies he will stand before God in judgment. In this, as in all other matters, we conclude, "LET GOD BE TRUE, AND EVERY MAN A LIAR!"
