WE WILL NOT ALTER OUR MESSAGE

Our message is the free and sovereign grace of God in Christ. It is the gospel of the crucified, risen, exalted Son of God. It is only through the preaching of this message that God is honored. And it is only by the preaching of this message that men are truly converted. If we alter our message and employ the deceitful methods of modern religion, in order to get results, it would both dishonor God and be damning to the souls of men. Better that this house of worship be burned to the ground, and this congregation scattered to the four corners of the earth, than that we should alter our message. It is my earnest prayer that God will ever increase and strengthen our tenacious adherence to the gospel of his grace. Let us never be moved from this one purpose: to preach the gospel of Christ for the glory of Christi without the least compromise.
