THEY'RE WATCHING YOU!

We all profess to be believers, followers of Christ, men and women whose hearts are set upon eternity and seeking the glory of Christ. Our sons and daughters, husbands and wives, relatives and friends are watching us. They are watching to see if we really believe what we say, and if we really are what we profess. I often wonder, How do those who know me best perceive my life and my faith?

Suppose - I profess to love God, but they see in me anger, wrath, and hostility. I profess to love the gospel, but they see me allowing the most trivial things to keep me from the house of worship. I profess to live by faith, but they see me full of worry, anxiety, and fear. I profess to seek the glory of Christ, but they see me unwilling to subject my rights, my feelings, and my pleasures to his glory. I profess to seek the kingdom of God, but they see me loving this world. I profess to care for their souls, bat they see me providing for their education, their health, their social entertainment, and their pleasure, and making no effort to provide them with that which would profit their souls.

They're watching you. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT, ISN'T IT!
