The Bible Is The Word of God
Without the least doubt or
hesitation, I declare that the Bible is the Word of God. And this is what I
mean by that statement:
1. It Is Inspired By God The Holy Spirit - Nothing else can explain the
existence of this Book to a rational man, except that, "Holy men of God
spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." God the Holy Spirit led those
men who wrote the scriptures; and he sovereignly prevailed upon them to write
nothing but his own words. The scriptures were not edited and revised by the
prophets and apostles, they were transcribed by them
under Divine power!
2. And The
Bible Is Infallible - The coin of inspiration comes from the mint of
infallibility. If this Book is not infallible, it is not inspired, and it is
not the Word of God. There are no errors to be found upon the pages of
inspiration. The Bible is the perfect and complete revelation of the mind,
will, purpose, character, and Being of the eternal God. It is not possible for
a man to know God apart from that which God has revealed about himself in this
Book.
