True fellowship is a unity of heart, a unity of
purpose, and a unity of principle. This kind of fellowship is the basis of a
church family. It arises from a heart union with Christ which causes his people
to seek his glory above all else, give themselves to the furtherance of the
gospel, and live by the principle of faith and love toward him. The Lord has
blessed us in measure with this kind of unity and fellowship. Let us cherish
it, protect it, and grow in it.
