THERE IS SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT

Man is by nature a very selfish creature. Selfishness is something that we have to struggle against all our lives. Nothing is more loathsome than pride and selfishness. Yet, nothing is more common. As a child of God, I must learn to resist this evil of my nature. There is something more important than my will - GOD'S WILL. There is something more important than my honor - GOD'S HONOR. There is something more important than the welfare of my family - the welfare of GOD'S FAMILY. There is something more important than my feelings - THE FEELINGS OF MY BRETHREN. There is something more important than my comfort - THE COMFORT OF GOD'S PEOPLE. There is something more important than promoting my name -PROMOTING THE GOSPEL. There is something more important than you - THE GLORY OF GOD! May God give us grace to seek his glory above all else.
