THE SOURCE OF ALL GRACE

Grace is a free favor of God bestowed upon undeserving ill-deserving, hell-deserving sinners. Grace is not something a sinner earns, but that which God freely gives. According to the first chapter of Ephesians all the blessings of God's grace come to us by the eternal purpose of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Adoption, acceptance, forgiveness, regeneration, and eternal glory were all given to all of God's elect in the Father's eternal purpose, purchased by the blood of Christ poured out as our Substitute at Calvary, and are effectually accomplished in us by the Holy Spirit. Even that faith by which we receive grace is a gift of the operation of God. There is but one reason why God saves any sinner by his matchless grace, and that is - "TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY'"
