THE SCRIPTURES ALONE!

We are not in the least measure reluctant to state our doctrinal understanding of Holy Scripture. We are thoroughly Calvinistic and Baptistic in our theology. But we refuse to give allegiance to any creed, confession of faith, or church covenant written by fallible men. The Word of God is sufficient. The Bible is our creed, our confession, and our covenant. The Bible alone is our only rule of faith and practice. We accept no others, because the Bible alone is inspired and infallible. The Word of God tells us what we are to believe and how we are to live in this world.
