PRAYER - SPEAKING TO THE ETERNAL GOD!

I am desperately afraid of being pretentious before God! Too often, I fear my words are too many and my thoughts too few when I speak to God in prayer. What is it to pray? Many answers could be given. But this fact fills my very soul with awe - When I pray, I am speaking to the Eternal, Omniscient, Holy, and Omnipotent God! Therefore, I ought to carefully weigh my words as I spread my cause and my petitions before him! What base irreverence it would be for me to presume to speak to Almighty God without thought, or to merely repeat some well-learned lines to him without feeling!
