No Change Needed —

In recent moths I have had occasion to do something I prefer not to do. I have had to read a good many things I have written over the years: bulletin articles, sermon notes, etc. I have done so because they needed to be edited for posting on our web pages for public use. But the editing has only involved grammatical and spelling corrections. No one statement of doctrine has been altered, even slightly. Why? Truth does not change. It does not adapt to changing trends in society, or to the many whims of religious speculation. Those who are ever coming up with “new light” are only groping in greater darkness.
