NO POSSIBILITY OF
CONDEMNATION!
The Apostle Paul was so fully
persuaded that God's elect shall never, by any possibility, be condemned that
he raised this bold challenge - "Who is he that condemneth?" Neither
the demons of hell, nor the scoffing world, nor the holy law of God shall ever
be able to condemn one of those for whom Christ shed his blood at Calvary!
Then Paul shows us the reason for his confident persuasion of the believer's
security. "IT IS CHRIST THAT DIED." Since Christ died as our
Substitute, we died in him; and the law can never demand that we die again. CHRIST
"IS RISEN AGAIN". His resurrection is
the proof that God accepted his finished work as our Substitute. CHRIST
"IS EVEN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD". As our sin-atoning High
Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ sits in heaven, having finished his work and
confidently expecting the eternal salvation of his redeemed ones for the
satisfaction of his soul. CHRIST "ALSO MAKETH INTERCESSION FOR US".
Since God's own Son intercedes for us, we shall never be condemned.
