IS JESUS CHRIST YOUR LORD?

I do not ask what you know. I do not ask what you believe. I do not ask what you feel. I do not ask what you have experienced. I ask you to honestly answer this one question - Is Jesus Christ your Lord? If he is your Lord, you are saved, you are a child of God, you are an heir of eternal glory. If Christ is not your Lord, if you do not yield to him a willing, voluntary obedience from a submissive heart, you are lost, a child of wrath, condemned forever. Wherever Christ gives eternal life, he is the Lord of life. Where Christ lives, Christ reigns. All true spiritual life willingly submits to Christ as Lord. The believer's submission and obedience to Christ is not perfect, but it is sincere. The principle which rules his heart, the attitude that governs his life, is submission to Christ. Faith in Christ is neither more nor less than a heart surrender to the rightful claims of Christ as sovereign Lord. Where there is no surrender of the heart, there is no faith in the heart.
