"I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE"

Husbands often leave their wives, and wives often leave their husbands, saying, "I can't live with you any longer, because I don't love you anymore." What does that mean - "I don't love you anymore"? It means, in reality, "I NEVER HAVE LOVED YOU." True love is more than a selfish emotion that exists only for gratification. True love is a self-denying commitment to a person. It endures all things, forgives all things, and does all things for the welfare of its object. True love cannot die, and it cannot be destroyed; And "I don't love you anymore" means,  I DON'T KNOW GOD. "He that loveth not knoweth not God: for God is love" (I John 4:8). The Spirit of God in a man's heart causes him to love God, love the people of God, and love his fellowmen. The grace of God in a man's heart even causes him to love his enemies.
