HOW DO MEN RESPOND TO THE DOCTRINE OF OUR SECURITY IN CHRIST?

The self-righteous religionist will say, "Such a doctrine will lead men to sin. We cannot have it. This is carrying grace too far." The presumptuous professor of religion will say, "Let us sin that grace may abound. Salvation is entirely by grace, so it does not matter how I live." The true believer will say, "Such marvellous grace compels me to give myself wholeheartedly to Christ in love, praise, and service. I will live for him who loved me and gave himself for me." Grace produces gratitude; and gratitude produces dedication.
