"GONE,  GONE, GONE, YES, MY SINS ARE GONE!"

Jesus Christ, the true Scapegoat, bore our sins in his own body on the tree. They were imputed to him. God made his Son to be sin for us. He charged Christ with the massive load of sin and guilt! Bearing our sins up to the cross, bearing them on the cross, and bearing them to the grave, our Redeemer bore our sins away! He bore them away into the land of forgetfulness. When the Son of God came forth from the tomb, our sins were gone. He lost them in the tomb. By virtue of Christ's death and resurrection, God has so thoroughly forgiven us of our sins that he has forgotten them. He will never remember them against us again for ever! Through the blood of Christ our sins are washed away. And they are GONE!
