DON'T MOCK GOD IN HIS HOUSE!

Nothing is more wicked than for men and women to mock God in his own house, while invoking his name and claiming to worship him.

God plainly declares that women are to be silent and never lead men in worship. He tells us plainly that pastors, elders, and deacons are to be men with one wife who rule their own houses well (Read I Cor. 14:34; I Tim. 2:11-12; 3:1-12). Yet, churches today bow to the pressures of society and ordain women to the work of the ministry! Do you not mock God?

The Lord Jesus Christ once came into the temple and drove out the money-grubbers who made the house of God a place of social gathering, entertainment, and business, declaring, "My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves" (Matt. 21:13). Today churches take money that ought to be used for the preaching of the gospel and use it to build gymnasiums ("family life centers"), throw bingo parties, outfit ball teams, and entertain sinners on the road to hell, doing whatever it takes to get a crowd! Do you not mock God?

God tells us that his church is to be the pillar and ground of the truth, a preaching center, where sinners are instructed in the blessed doctrines of the gospel of his free grace in Christ (Eph. 4:8-14; I Tim. 3:15-16). Yet, preachers everywhere bow to the will of the people. The least amount of time possible is given to preaching. Sound, doctrinal, gospel preaching is utterly forbidden. Do you not mock God?
