Coming to Christ is a spiritual
thing. It is an act of faith. We do not come to Christ by any natural motion of
the body. Our Savior is in heaven; and we cannot climb up to his throne by
physical movement. Sinners come to Christ by an act of the heart. To come to
Christ is simply to trust him. It is venturing your soul upon the merits of his
righteousness, the sufficiency of his blood, and the efficacy of his
intercession. John Bunyan raised the question, "What kind of coming is
that which saves the soul?" Then he answered it: "Any coming in all the world if it does but come to Jesus." That is
what you must do, just come to Christ. Quit trying to feel something or do
something to prepare yourself to come, and just come.
Come to Christ today and he will save you today!
