05v25 Husbands Love Your Wives
All men want their wives to
be in subjection to them; but few men know the secret to obtaining that
subjection. Men, we are to love our wives, even as Christ loved the church and
gave himself for it. That simply means that we are to lay down our lives for
them. Tenderly care for the weaker vessel. Be thoughtful and considerate of
her. Speak kindly to her and about her. Live for her welfare. This kind of love
will breed a voluntary subjection in the woman who receives it. If you want
reverent subjection from your wife, you must demonstrate a loving regard for
her. Love her! Tell her that you love her! And show her that you love her!
