eph 02v25 Ye Are Saved

"YE ARE SAVED"

Ephesians 2:5

The happiest word in the Bible is the word "SAVED". That man or woman who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is saved. "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." But what does it mean to be saved by the grace of God through faith in Christ?

1.             To be saved is to be FORGIVEN of all sin (Eph. 1:7).

2. To be saved is to have PEACE with God (Rom. 5:1).

3. To be saved is to be FREE FROM THE CURSE of the law (Gal. 3:13).

4. To be saved is to be FREE FROM ALL POSSIBILITY OF CONDEMNATION (Rom. 8:1).

5. To be saved is to have REAL LIFE (I John 5:11).

6. To be saved is to have the SPIRIT OF CHRIST (Rom. 8:9).

7. To be saved is to OWN AND ACKNOWLEDGE CHRIST AS LORD (Rom. 10:9-10).

8. To be saved is to be IN LOVE WITH JESUS CHRIST (I Cor. 16:22).

"GOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TRAGEDIES OF LIFE!"

How many times have you heard preachers and religious people make that statement? I shudder every time I hear it, because it exposes the heart of an infidel. A god who exercises no providential control over his creation is no god at all. Such a god is no more than an idolatrous image conceived in the minds of sinful men to pacify their guilty consciences: (Read Psalm 115:5-7). Is there any deeper abyss of infidelity than the imagination that God is a helpless, frustrated spectator, watching the affairs of the world, unable to accomplish his own pleasure and purpose in his creation?
