eph 02v05 By Grace Ye Are Saved

"BY GRACE YE ARE SAVED."

Ephesians 2:5

Salvation is altogether the work of God's free and sovereign grace in Christ. Salvation was purposed for God's elect in God's gracious decree from eternity. Salvation was purchased for God's elect by the redeeming grace of the Lord Jesus Christ at Calvary. And salvation is performed in God's elect by the gracious operation of God the Holy Spirit in regeneration. Grace justifies. Grace regenerates. Grace sanctifies. Grace preserves. And grace glorifies all the people of God. Grace gives us life and faith in Christ; and grace keeps us in the way of life and faith. Grace imputes the righteousness of Christ to us, and grace rewards us for it.
