WHY SHOULD WE GLORY IN THE CROSS?

Galatians 6:14

1. IT IS A COVENANT RESPECTED (Heb. 13:20)·

The Lord Jesus Christ died as the Surety of the everlasting covenant, sealing its promises to

God's elect by his own blood.

2. IT IS A COMPASSION REALIZED (Rom. 5:8).

Never was there such a clear, demonstration of God's infinite, sovereign, distinguishing, and sacrificial love as that which is seen in the death of his well Beloved Son in our place,

3. IT IS A CURSE REMOVED (Gal. 3:13)

Being made a curse for us, the Lord of glory has removed all possibility of a curse from his people.
